First of all, thanks the encouragement as I venture into blog-land. The territory is slightly exciting, I just have to be sure to remember that people might just read what I write--therefore my musings should be somewhat coherent. Or maybe not.
Its Sunday afternoon, Nathan is busy at school working on a project. I am watching the Broncos. I've never been a big fan, but they are growing on me. Nathan is quite close to finishing this semester. Only one semester left, and then he will be a real live engineer. I am quite excited for him. Work is fun and challenging, and I think he is ready to practice what he has been learning in the past 6 years. Oh the people you'll meet, the places you'll see. And I am getting ready to hopefully get back into the school thing.
One of my most favorite parts about work is doing life reviews with residents. Some take advatage of the opportunity, some don't. We talked about God's goodness in church this morning. The conversation led me to appreciate even more the experience and wisdom of the members of my church family. I don't know specifics of the life stories of many of my church family, but God's faithfulness is revealed in their faces, their inflections, their love for scripture and love for His perfect timing. I love it. The redemption story is so beautiful, how exciting it is to think that we are a valued and treasured part of it.
