New Post!

First of all, I am thoroughly enjoying myself watching a Twins game at this moment. I like. I wish I had more updates to share. I am still job searching- I've had two interviews (woot woot)-- still waiting to hear back from one of them. I have a feeling that they might go with someone else, which would be disappointing because the job sounds rather interesting- it is a job helping seniors get job skills and training in order to find employment. Work is good! I think that is what my parents tried to teach me when I had chores to do. Ahh, I can still hear it now... "You live here, you work here." I guess its all about community.

Anyway, the search continues. In the mean time I get to do fun things like watch twins games and update blogs and bake cookies. My cookies did not turn out yesterday. It might have something to do with me making up the recipie. We'll try again! Another fun thing I have discovered is picnik. Its a web based photo editor. I have had fun. (See exhibits.) We had a great time at a friend's BBQ last night. Good food and we got to meet some "new" people (I say "new" because it just so happens we went to the same highschools- small world.) We are having more visitors this weekend- I am super excited for that.
